KDKA TV2 interview of Lisa and Amy Katz
This segment includes the story of how Amy's parents learned about her
illness plus a lot of very good information about what it means to register

TV Coverage on the day of the Donor Screening Drive
The following local television news programs covered the February 29
donor drive held at Temple Emanuel of South Hills in Pittsburgh, PA.
This was
the first major donor drive organized by Amy's Army and the planning
committee was hoping to see maybe 1,000 people come to the event.
We were "blown
away" by the outpouring of caring demonstrated by the community.
We counted 1657 blood samples collected that day, every one of them
a
potential donor who might be chosen someday to help someone with a
life-threatening blood disease. Caution: Watching these
videos may alter your perception of the world in which we live!
